The acidic formula helps promote smoothness and intense shine, making it particularly well suited to pre-lightened and sensitized hair.
Tonal Control also features Real-Time Visible Oxidation, meaning the formula gradually deepens in appearance as it processes. This gives professional colorists a visual indication of tonal development and helps provide predictable, controlled results.

How to Use
For professional use only.
Mix Matrix Tonal Control Pre-Bonded Gel Toner in a 1:1 ratio with Matrix 10 Volume (3%) Cream Developer. For a full 3 oz tube, use 3 oz Tonal Control + 3 oz Matrix 10 Volume Cream Developer.
Apply to clean hair that is at least 80% dry. For overly porous hair, Matrix recommends lightly misting with Instacure before application.
Process for 20 minutes at room temperature without heat, then rinse thoroughly. Select the appropriate Tonal Control shade according to the starting level, underlying pigment, porosity, and desired finished tone.
